Lots of Updates

Well a lot has gone on in the past little while.  The kids were removed from their "monster's" home.  Finally a different department of Social Services got the file and said, no way this isn't right.  All 3 kids went to a doctor to be checked out.  And my DSD shows signs of there being some kind of trauma done to her "girl parts".  :(

So the doctor and the social workers are leaving it as "concerned" but she can go back to her mother!!!  Oh yes, you just read that right.  This "monster" who has had a convicted SEX OFFENDER, in contact with her kids for the past year now, and they find that her youngest child has been more than likely victimized, and they are just "concerned" and since they can't prove anything.... that she can go back....

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!?

So here is the ad on Kijiji here in Saskatoon, looking for any and ALL information on Matthew Everette Salen. 

Please pass this onto anyone you know!  All responses will be kept confidential.  We promise that.  But we (as a society) need to get this scumbag away from children.  Especially my step daughter and her siblings!

Predator on the Prowl

Well since the last update, the kiddie perv is out of jail, which I believe I stated already....

And now my DSD is informing me that this kiddie perv is living in their home.  So I need all eyes on deck everyone... if you know of, or have any information of one MATTHEW EVERETTE SALEN, in regards to him living with my DSD's mother and her 3 children, please contact Saskatoon City Police immediately.  They are aware of what has been said and working on the situation.  We need your help to find this guy and keep him away from innocent children.

Much needed update

Hey folks, sorry I haven't updated in awhile, things have been kinda crazy around here lately.

Well I found out that the kiddie perv, had in fact been released the September long weekend.  The same weekend that DSD's mother wanted us to take her.  We didn't.  We chose not to as we knew what was going on.

I spoke with the perv's PO, and found out that there are now no conditions to his release.  He went to jail for 90 days, and because he pled out to everything that he did wrong, he can do whatever, other than be around kids.  He can still see DSD's mother if he wants to and nothing will happen.  I know that as adults, that we can make up our own minds about who we see, but I believe deep down in my heart that neither one of these people have learned their lesson, and the chance of screwing up again is bound to happen.  And I believe that it's going to happen sooner, rather than later.

His PO also told me that, he is under the impression that once his conditions are over, that him, the mother and the children will be one happy family.  I'm sorry, but as soon as I heard that, I wanted to vomit right there on the spot.  This man is sick.  He was told that it will never work.  That he will always be considered a threat, and that no one in their right mind would trust him.  He is on the sex offender list for the next 20 years.  And what about the child that he already has.  Does he see this child?  I know that if I were this child's mother that if he were to have visitation they would NEVER be out of my sight.

I feel sorry for women who feel that this is "the best that they can get".  Seriously, give your head a shake.  This man was CONVICTED of producing and distributing child pornography of child as young as 2 years old via the internet.  And not just one or two pictures... NUMEROUS images and videos.  Who in their right mind would EVER put their children in that kind of jeopardy.

The fact that you have such low self esteem that you need someone as useless as that to "love you" is beyond disturbing.  I would never put my kids in any kind of harm, especially harm that I know damn well I could prevent.  I wish that there was punishment for stupidity, but apparently there isn't.

This woman still has all 3 of her kids, and SS is "watching" her by doing random visits.  Well I hope that whoever it was that made the "annoymous" calls to SS and his PO will continue if this guy shows up in the picture again.  They are both so pathetic that they think that what they are doing is ok, and they will "make it work".  I hope that she has learnt her lesson, but from showing her extremely poor sense of logic on prior occassions, I just don't see it happening.  Once things cool off, they will be right back where they were, as if nothing had changed.  And I pray that SS and his PO will step in and remove those kids from harms way.

Thanks for listening, and hopefully something will be done and we can all sleep at night knowing that our children aren't being abused or mistreated anymore.

The Calm Before the Storm...

Well it's been a little bit since I've written in here, because well things all around us seemed to have been going somewhat OK.  Well it was truthfully the calm before the storm.  My DSS's "monster" has informed us that they are changing his school at the end of the month.  They have found a place, and therefore, she believes that it is her God given right to do whatever the hell she thinks she can.  Well in reality sunshine, there are rules that need to be followed.  Even though, she isn't one to follow the rules (never has, and never will, as long as the bullshit legal system that we have in place finally makes these women accountable for their actions), we will be going through the proper channels in which to make those rules enforced.

My DSS is almost 10 years old, but is the size of a 6 year old.  He is very small for his age, and we are waiting on tests (that SHE should have done almost 3 years ago, but never did) to find out the actual reasoning for his small stature.  He has gone to his current school, going onto his sixth year.  He has gone there from day one.  Has his friends that watch out for him, and the teachers and everyone in the school knows who he is, and what an amazing kid that he is.  The teachers and students keep an extra eye on him, just to make sure that he isn't getting picked on, or that anyone is "messing" with him.

He is an extremely sensetive kid, and his feelings get hurt very easily.  He told us today, in tears that he doesn't want to switch schools, and that he doesn't want to leave all of his friends and teachers, and because he is already started school, he thinks that it's stupid to change schools.  We asked him if he knew why he was changing schools, and his answer was, well my "monster" doesn't have a car, and my step dad refuses to drive me to school cause it's out of his way on his way to work.  I'm sorry, but that's just not good enough.  You make things work.  In her affidavit from almost 2 years ago now, she states that she doesn't have a car, BUT that she has an amazing family that makes sure that DSS gets to school and to all the things that he needs to do.  So where is this "amazing family" that you speak of?  Oh, that's right, they are sick and tired of your bullshit just like the rest of us.  And the other excuse.... Well "monster" has a new baby now, so therefore she doesn't have the time or energy to take me to school so I will have to change schools.

Someone tell me where the logic and the sense comes into this?  The term "in the best interest of the child" is the new cliche, it's like "don't wear white after labour day".... This term gets thrown around, and in reality, it isn't the best interest of the child, it's in the best interest of the legal system to not want to "rock the boat" with the fem-nazi groups out there that paint these fathers in the worst way. 

Sorry just had to get this out, and it's so extremely upsetting that these women (who in my opinion don't even deserve to have that title) can do whatever the hell that they want, and nothing will ever change.  Well we won't take it lying down, nor roll over and say, OK, this is what you want to do, well I guess I should just let you do it.

Amazing Interview!

I just finished watching an interview with Dadsdivorce.com with Molly Murphy.  This is the lady that has written a tell all book of the unfairness of the legal system for men in this country.  The book is called Winner Take All.  This is a great book, we have it and have read it, and were truly blown away with how terrible it really is.  More people in this country/world need to realize that the children need to come first and put your own petty feelings away.

Here is the interview, it's fantastic, and more people should be educated in regards to this.

I hope one day that things will change for the children of this country.  That there will be equal parenting.  It took two of you to make this child, why can't it take two of you to raise it?  You were equal parents when you were living together, why not when you are separate.

Please pass this on, share it with your friends and family...we need to start educating society and finally bringing justice to our children.

UPDATES!!!!

Well thank you for your patience with all of this.  It's been at a stand still for awhile here!  But I think that we might actually be moving forward now.

I did finally get a call back from the Minister of Social Services office.  He had spoken with the case worker here in Saskatoon, and she couldn't provide a lot of information, but helped direct us in a way that could possibly help us out.  We were given a phone number for a Constable here on our Police force that works with high risk offenders.  So I called and left a message due to the fact that she was gone on holidays.

After leaving this message, I figured it would be a couple of weeks before hearing back, or hearing anything at all.  The day upon her arrival back to work, I received a phone call.  She told me who this guy is, and what's going on.  Well this predator is back in jail right now for breaching the conditions of his release.  HE IS BACK IN JAIL!!!!!!  I couldn't believe it.  It gave me a sigh of relief, but he's due out in September.  So I can sleep somewhat soundly (only when the children are with us) knowing that he isn't hurting anyone's child right now.

Please go and read the article from April 2009 in regards to this guy, and tell me if EVER in a million years, knowing this about someone that you would EVER put your children in this kind of danger?

I want to thank Tracy at Andy Iwanchuk's office.  She has been such a gem in all of this.  She has supported me in my journey to get justice for my step daughter, and other children that may have been affected by this man, and other people that do this. 

I hope that someday my step daughter will know of my battle to help protect her and know that she may not have come from my womb, but in my heart she will be forever mine.

Thank you for your love and support, it means the world to us.  If it weren't for our friends and family supporting us on this journey, we don't think that we would be as far as we are.  So again, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Well still waiting to hear something back from the Minister of Social Services.  You might find this hard to believe, but they aren't getting back to me.  I heard from one guy there, Theo, and he was rather useless.  He told me that he was going to contact the office here in Saskatoon and find out what's going on.  Oh dear boy, you aren't going to get any further than I will.

I hate the system, I hate social services, and I hate dead beat MOMS!!!!  They can do whatever they want to, and nothing happens.  Having a kiddie perv in your house for 8 months is ok, but dad's holler at their kids and they will never see them again... someone tell me the logic/justice in that?

Frustrating as all hell...
