MLA's

Well as some of you know, we are dealing with social services in regards to my step daughter's mother.  She had knowingly dating a man that had been convicted of view child pornography on the internet.  Under the conditions of his release, he was not to be around children unless with a court approved adult.

Well 8 months later, she gets busted with this man, after being told, and it being apparently court ordered for them NOT to have contact with each other.  My step daughter comes to us for a week and a half.  Social services is involved, but the children are never "removed" from her care.  She now has the children back in her care, and social services did NOTHING.

Rob has been in contact with the mother's worker and that she can't tell him anything due to the privacy act.  So his hands are tied in that aspect.  So I have taken it upon myself to be in correspondence with our local MLA's and MP's as well.  I have received a few responses back from 2 of our NDP MLA's.  I spoke with one of them yesterday and they are trying some different avenues to get us some answers.

I received another email this morning inviting me to come down to their office and speak with them.  Waiting on final details on the time, but I'm looking forward to meeting with them and hopefully getting more answers.

I have been in contact with the Ministry of Social Services, the people above our local office, and got "we can't help you, talk to the Saskatoon office".  Nice,eh?  The people that over look the province are telling me there is nothing that they can do... pretty sad when the "system" protects dead beat moms instead of the children that they are SUPPOSED to protect.
